Thriver Membership Terms & Conditions
Effective from 1st September 2025
As part of our ongoing commitment to connection, growth, and well-being, we ask all members to review and agree to the following Terms & Conditions upon joining the Thriver community.
1. Membership Tiers & Fees: Effective 1st September 2025:
- Legacy Thrivers (existing members as of this date): AED 275/month
- New Members (joining on or after 1st September 2025): AED 325/month
All memberships include:
- Access to approximately 8 curated monthly events
- Full access to the member portal
- Access to the Thriver mobile app (launching soon)
2. Legacy Thrivers Policy
- Members active before 1st September 2025 will be referred to as Legacy Thrivers.
- If a Legacy Thriver cancels their membership after this date and wishes to rejoin, they will rejoin at the membership rate at that time - not the legacy rate.
3. Membership Cancellation
- Members must give a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice prior to their next billing date to cancel.
- Cancellations submitted with less notice will apply to the following billing cycle.
- All cancellation requests must be made in writing and emailed to: info@women-whothrive.com.
4. Membership Pause
- Members are entitled to pause their membership for up to 1 month per calendar year free of charge.
- Additional pause requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Thriver.
- Membership Benefits
Membership grants access to selected monthly community events, each including:
- Event entry
- Workshop participation
- Networking components
- Certain events may include optional charges for food & beverages or supplementary activities,which will be clearly communicated in advance.
6. Access & Transfers
- Membership is non-transferable and for the exclusive use of the named individual.
- Members may not share their login credentials, event links, or access privileges with others.
7. Member Conduct
- Members are expected to treat all community members, partners, and facilitators with respect, kindness, and professionalism.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership without refund, at the discretion of Thriver.
8. Refund Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable, including for:
- Missed events
- Partial months
- Cancellations outside the two-week notice period
9. Event Attendance
- Due to limited capacity, advance RSVP is required to attend each event.
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in restricted access to future events.
10. App & Portal Use
- Members will receive access to the Thriver app and portal.
- Any misuse - including spam, inappropriate messaging, or unapproved promotions - may result in immediate removal from the platform and potential loss of membership.
11. Photography & Media Consent
- By attending Thriver events, members acknowledge and agree that photography and videography may occur.
- These images and videos may be used for promotional, marketing, or community recap purposes.
- Members who do not wish to appear in media must inform the team in advance of the event.
12. Amendments & Price Review
- Thriver reserves the right to update the membership structure, benefits, and pricing at any time.
- Membership fees are subject to annual increases in line with inflation and community growth.
13. Women Only Policy & Thrivers Manifesto
- The Thriver app and membership are exclusively for women only.
- All members must read, sign, and adhere to the Thrivers Manifesto, available upon login to the app.
14. App Empowerment & Safe Use
- The app is designed to empower and unite women, providing a safe and supportive community space.
- Offensive language, bullying, harassment, or misuse of the app will not be tolerated and may result in removal.
15. Liability Waiver & Disclaimer
- Participation in Thriver events and app use is voluntary and at your own risk.
- Thriver, its founders, ambassadors, facilitators, and partners are not liable for any injury, loss, illness, damages, or expenses incurred through participation in events, app use, or third-party vendor services.
- Members must seek professional advice independently where required (e.g., medical, financial, legal).
- By joining, members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thriver from any claims arising from membership, event participation, or app use.
16. Data Protection & Privacy Policy
- Thriver complies with UAE Federal Law on Personal Data Protection (PDP 2021).
- By joining, members consent to the collection and processing of personal data for membership, events, and app use.
- Limited information may be shared with trusted partners for service delivery (e.g., event hosts, payment processors).
- Members agree not to misuse other members’ personal information obtained via the app, portal, or events.
- Members may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by emailing info@women-whothrive.com.

17. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai jurisdiction).
18. Eligibility & Age Requirement
- The Thriver app and membership are available exclusively to women aged 18 years and above. By creating an account or participating in any Thriver activity, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and Conditions.
- Privacy Policy & Data Usage
- Thriver is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. In addition to the terms outlined above, we collect and process personal information (such as name, contact details, and preferences) for the purpose of:
- Managing memberships, events, and app access;
- Sending updates, newsletters, and event information;
- Improving user experience and personalizing community engagement;
- Partnering with select partner brands to provide exclusive offers, rewards, and opportunities that align with our members’ interests.
- Data may be shared with partner brands for collaboration and marketing purposes relevant to the Thriver community. Such partnerships are governed by confidentiality agreements and are compliant with UAE Federal Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDP Law).
